Peter F. Carr Listed Among Florida’s ‘Super Lawyers’ In 2017

We are pleased to announce that Peter F. Carr Jr., one of our firm’s founding attorneys, has been listed among Florida’s 2017 ‘Super Lawyers’ in Business Litigation. This is an incredible honor, underscoring that Peter’s peers have recognized his achievements in the legal field.

Indeed, this is the sixth consecutive year he has been included on the state’s Super Lawyers roster.

Why this is an honor

Fewer than five percent of attorneys in a given state are named to the Super Lawyers list. And the selection process is rigorous. Candidates must be nominated (blindly) by their peers or managers, or be identified by a special research team. Their performance over the last year will then be thoroughly evaluated. Specifically, attorneys are judged on a number of criteria, including:

  • Verdicts and settlements
  • Special licenses and certifications
  • Honors and awards received
  • Special licenses and certifications
  • Published papers or lectures
  • Pro bono work and community service
  • Representative clients

Once the potential candidate pool is established, only a handful of lawyers ultimately make the cut.

Why Peter F. Carr was included

His profile on Super Lawyers lays out a number of reasons for his inclusion. For example, he’s lauded for having “successfully litigated cases against some of the largest and most powerful corporations, resulting in significant recoveries for his clients.” The profile details that he’s “taken numerous cases to trial throughout the state of Florida, including in federal court, state court and the American Arbitration Association.”

Throughout the course of his career, Peter has continued to garner praise from his peers and establish himself as a leader in the field. On behalf of the firm, we congratulate him on his most recent accolade.
